Whale Desk Clock
Call it the Clock Whale. Some years ago - never mind how long precisely - having few timepieces on my table, and nothing particular to interest me online, I thought I would put together a wooden clock that would take the place of my phone on my desk. Whenever I find myself wondering what time it is or whither my iPhone has traveled, the Clock Whale is there for me.

I made this at TechShop!!

Materials and Tools:
  • 15" x 12" x 1/4" plywood
  • Laser cutter
  • Clock mechanism - I bought a clock at the dollar store and used that clock mechanism.
  • Wood stain
  • Wood glue
  • STEPS
  • Print out the file provided on a laser cutter.
  • Once printed, stain the background.
  • Glue the whale and splashes to the back ground.
  • Set it up on its stand
  • Add the clock mechanism.

  • Thats it!
